Buying a home is obviously a major investment, but it’s not just a financial decision. It’s also a significant personal investment. After all, a home is the one place where homeowners can truly relax and feel comfortable, where they can enjoy spending time with family and friends and create memories that they will cherish for a lifetime. And the home that the current homeowners of 804 Fairfield Estates Court in Crownsville bought definitely met all of their expectations—allowing them to build the life that they truly desired.
“This home was perfect for us because we were raising our two sons, and it offered plenty of space,” says the homeowners. “It also afforded us the opportunity to meet and get to know some amazing neighbors and live in an area that allowed easy access to both Baltimore and Washington, D.C.”
The luxurious five-bedroom home features a completely remodeled gourmet chef’s kitchen with granite countertops, backsplash, Thermador appliances, a breakfast bar, a desk, and bar areas. A relaxing retreat, the master suite features a three-sided gas fireplace, a sitting area, and abundant natural light. The completely remodeled spa-like ensuite is absolutely elegant and includes a Jacuzzi tub, heated tile flooring, a separate shower with a river rock floor, and dual granite vanities. And the spacious lower level walkout includes a bedroom, a full bath, and ample space.
“The home was originally a ‘builder’s special,’ and when we first moved in, the features were very standard,” says the homeowners. “Throughout the years, we custom designed the house to meet our needs more efficiently and comfortably. The addition of the kitchen allowed ample space for two avid cooks, and the idea to transform the master bath into a ‘tranquility spa’ evolved over time into a beautifully custom tiled work of art with just the right lighting and features to showcase the large Jacuzzi tub. The open floor plan on the main floor offered many opportunities to entertain friends and family. And the two-level island countertop allowed us to host intimate parties where the food was served as soon as it was removed from the stove and oven, which supports a more contemporary way to entertain.”
Obviously, the homeowners love their home and the lifestyle it offers, but they also enjoy living in their community.
“Every year, the community hosts two events that attract residents from the 25 homes in the community,” says the homeowners. “It’s a very warm community and includes people from all walks of life. Interestingly, the neighborhood does not have sidewalks. This has allowed for more of an established community feel where every home is unique. The location is also ideal. Crownsville is within close proximity to Annapolis and Waugh Chapel, and we enjoy easy access to stores, restaurants, and businesses. Crownsville is home to Milano’s, one of the best pizzerias we have ever found that delivers. Their pizza has been a favorite of our busy family for years. The convenience of Annapolis Mall and the shops in the Waugh Chapel and Parole area are also a big plus.”
The homeowners have decided to sell their home because they’re downsizing and moving on to the next chapter of their lives. But they believe that the home is perfect for the new homeowner.
“We hope that the buyer will appreciate the custom upgrades we’ve made and enjoy living in this home as much as we have,” says the homeowners.
